# No Chat Reports for Quilt

Quilt loads Fabric mods, so No Chat Reports on Quilt means running the Fabric jar — that works up to Minecraft 1.21.5, which covers the versions below. From 1.21.6 the Fabric builds stopped declaring explicit Quilt compatibility, so on newer versions you're better off on Fabric itself.

Latest build per Minecraft version

Everything else works the same as on Fabric: you need [Fabric API](https://github.com/FabricMC/fabric/releases) alongside the mod (bundled on 1.19.2), and the jar can go on the client, the server, or both.

Version numbers in the left column link to that version's own page. Checksums for every file are on [the download page](/download/), and the [install guide](/how-to-install/) covers the rest.
